Nurul Alieya Chee
This is the story about a little girl name Nurul Alieya from Kg. Langkon Baru, Kota Marudu with her 5 other siblings (age ranging from 2 years old to 12 years old). She was sent to Korea to undergo corrective heart surgery in 2013 accompanied by her father, at the age of 6 years old (Her mother stayed to look after her siblings). Today, Alieya is 14 years old.
Nurul has a sad story, her mother passed away in 2018. They are under the category of B40. Her father has been diagnosed with chronic lung disease where he told us that 60% of his lungs were affected. With no mother, Nurul is looking after her younger siblings, doing house chores, teaching and educating her siblings as the eldest daughter in the family. Whilst her father plants some banana etc. for the family and they have no other income.
The father felt overwhelmed with tears during Datuk Eva visitation at their home. He was very touched by the food baskets, stationeries and some cash he received from the SOSHF. Thank you again to the friends of the SOSHF.
