Elly Merinin
Elly was born with Congenital Heart Disease with Large ASD in failure and she undergone an open-heart surgery when she was only 2 years old. She went to Penang Adventist Hospital accompanied by her mother in 2012. Her mother shared that Elly had been diagnosed with CHD at 6 months of age and at that time Elly’s condition was very worrying because she was not sucking well and was underweight for her age. After the operation, Elly live a normal life like any other children.
Today, Elly is 12 years old and the SOSHF is able to visit them during the Covid-19 pandemic to send some food basket to their home in Kota Belud.
The parents thanked the Society For The Sabah Heart Fund as Elly is now living a healthier normal life like any normal children and she is more active in school. Elly ambition is to be a teacher. Her medical cost was co-sponsored by the Penang Adventist Hospital and the Society for the Sabah Heart Fund!
